Battlefield Guides - Our Vicksburg Dream Team!
Retired National Park historian and author Terry Winschel ill be our battelfield guide for this in-depth 3-day tour of the Vicksburg Campaign. The legendary Edwin C. Bearss, Chief Historian Emeritus of the National Park Service, will accompany this tour as our special guest. Together Ed and Terry have served a combined 45 years as park historians at Vicksburg National Military Park.

We will follow the action associated with the Battles of Grand Gulf, Port Gibson, Raymond, and Champion Hill. We will examine the siege operation at Vicksburg, and see the ironclad gunboat U.S.S. Cairo, that was discovered and raised in the 1960s by a team led by Ed Bearss.
